(Well, kind of)
So many things have happened since our last post, so many consortium goalposts moved, so much of the country overrun with tyrants. (For the record: Mint in Box Press stands against fascism and oppression in all its forms. We believe in human rights, women’s rights, LGBTQIA rights. We believe that no human being is illegal. We believe in a healthy social safety net and we believe that billionaires should pay their fair share to support it. This is a non-negotiable.) We had lofty goals for the end of the year, however, reality came and slapped us in our collective faces with illness, holidays and family, and an endless sense of impending doom, leading to us needing to pause for a moment to take a breath.
Now that that’s settled, our team has some updates.
Publication of Cordell Falk‘s new Sci-Fi novel, Omni One, has been pushed to Spring 2025. A handful of nips & tucks and it will be good to go.
The Mint in Box Press author anthology has been pushed to Summer 2025. Consider it your next beach read!
The final novel in Selena Jones‘ Doomsday Trilogy, Doomsday Changes Everything, will be released in Spring 2025, as well. MiB artist-in-residence, Ana Lyzer, is just finishing up the cover, which is gorgeous!
Mint in Box Press will be present at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2025. We’ll be at the table of MiB author, Greg Burke. We will announce author timelines and signing schedules at a later date. Authors Cordell Falk and Selena Jones will be there, along with resident Word Wrench, Brian Jones, and we’re working on more! At our table we will feature our catalog of books (of course), as well as buttons, stickers and original art by friends of MiB. If you’re attending the Con, we do hope you’ll stop by and check us out.
Alright then, update complete! Keep an eye out for more news from our team. We’ll leave you with this gorgeous image taken by one of our authors on a SoCal beach in January, a reminder that the world can simultaneously be a raging dumpster fire and a place of magic and beauty.

Please take care of yourselves, stop doomscrolling for moment and pick up a book (any book) and give yourself some grace. We will just be over here trying hard to take our own advice.
